What a marvelous invention. It keeps up to 80 ounces of your favorite brew cold, thanks to a central removable ice chamber that’s separated from the beer to stop the watering down process. A bar-style front tap keeps things flowing, while an internal illumination system lights your way when the sun goes down. $60. Get it here. More pictures after the jump.

Canada-based Karacters Design Group redesign of Silver Hills Bakery’s bread focus on innovation in packaging and the product labels. Seeking differentiation in an over-crowded bread section, this redesigned packaging picks up on the company’s simple, authentic values, and partners with a whimsical feel to leave the consumer smiling. A range of bold, vivid colours covering most of the package draws focus to the custom illustrations and the feature bread windows. This unique packaging jumps off the shelf and into the consumer’s shopping cart.

Nice video from CHOW about Galco’s Soda Pop, a soda only store in Los Angeles owned by John Nese. There are around 500 sodas in the store, all sourced and handpicked by John himself. Sort of like a nice beer store that stocks tons of obscure microbrews, but this is soda. I’m getting thirsty just watching this.
